FAQ
Questions we get asked.
Straight answers. If yours isn't here, ask us: a founder replies.
Working with us
Who will actually work on our project?
Senior people, and a founder touches every project. You talk directly to the people who design and build the work.
How do projects usually start?
Most start with a short, fixed-fee discovery engagement that produces a problem statement, a build plan and a quote. If you already have a detailed brief, we can go straight to scoping.
What ways can we work together?
Discovery & strategy (fixed fee), fixed-scope projects, an ongoing retainer, or, for founders, an equity or revenue-share partnership.
Where are you based?
In Doha, Qatar. We work with teams worldwide.
How quickly will you reply?
A founder replies within 48 hours.
Do you design for engagement?
Always. We design for people coming back because the product helps them: autonomy, competence and relatedness, not points on everything. And no dark patterns: they move numbers briefly and erode trust permanently.
AI & data
Do you only build with AI?
No. We use AI where it adds value, and we'll tell you when it's the wrong answer.
Which AI models do you use?
Whichever fits the job. We work with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Mistral models, and choose based on the task, cost and data requirements.
Will AI act on its own?
Not by default. Every automated step is logged, and anything customer-facing gets a human check first. Autonomy is extended step by step, with evidence.
How do you handle our data?
We use only what the work needs, and we agree how data is handled before a project starts. Details are in our privacy policy and on our security page.
AI on your website
Can you add an AI assistant to our existing website?
Yes. It reads the pages and documents you already publish and is added with one script tag, whatever your website runs on. Ask Nuvai, on this site, is a small version of it.
How do you stop an assistant making things up?
It answers only from your content and shows its sources. If your content doesn't cover a question, it says so and hands over to your team instead of guessing.
Can we control what it says?
Yes. Rules run before anything is searched: a topic can be refused, handed to a named team, or answered only in wording your team approved, with a second approver and an audit log.
After launch
What happens after launch?
Your choice: a clean handover with documentation, or a retainer where we keep operating and improving the product.
Can you take over an existing product?
Often, yes. We'll start by understanding what's there and tell you honestly what we find.
