What it replaces
A typical nursery keeps enquiries on a WhatsApp number, the roster in one spreadsheet, fees in another, receipts on paper and parent messages across dozens of chats. Answering "which parents haven't paid this term?" takes an hour of cross-checking, and when an administrator leaves, part of the school's memory leaves with them.
Madrasa OS puts all of it in one system with one login.
How it works
An enquiry lands in the admissions pipeline and becomes a registered student, with the family's details and documents attached. The fee engine builds each student's term schedule, including sibling discounts, scholarships and children who join mid-term. It issues invoices, tracks payments and produces receipts. Parents see their own children's fees, attendance and notices. The owner sees whether the business is healthy.
Where AI helps, and where it doesn't
In three places only. Reading uploaded documents in Arabic or English, so staff aren't retyping ID numbers. Drafting parent messages in both languages, which staff approve before anything is sent. And flagging things worth a human look, like a change in a family's payment pattern or attendance quietly dropping.
Everything else is ordinary, carefully built software. We'd rather say that than dress it up.
Built on a real system
Madrasa OS grew out of the management system we built for Nedaa Center in Doha, including its approach to protecting children's data: access rules enforced by the database itself, not just the screens.
